A couple of things to note about this show... -it is more of a monologue than a musical -if you aren't into music, you likely won't like this -if you're looking for a plot, you likely won't like this -if music moves you deeply, you will weep -this show is not kid appropriate (language, innuendos and LOUD) -the music is loud, if you don't like loud music, you won't like this show I LOVED this show. I was so moved by the dancing, the message and the music.

The Rrazz Room replaced The Plush Room in the York Hotel on Sutter Street, and it a valiant effort to offer an intimate cabaret nightclub with heart and soul. It certainly wasn't in the original plans when the Hotel Nikko was built, although the Japanese owners should have considered that since Jazz in clubs is much bigger there than here. There is not a great deal of ambience or personality to this room which is a shame since they present such great talent that specializes in timeless music and performance. It's the best show spot in town however because it's really the only one this size with this mission. There are no really bad sight lines, and the acoutics are all right, service is good and prices are very fair. It's just somewhat cold and souless in my opinion and there are a couple seating sections that have become Rrazz Siberia.

Went there the other night for diner, and the place was hopping. The bar area was fun and the bartenders were great. Then when we got to the table, it just keep on going. The food was very good, I had the Duck, and it was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this pace to anyone who asked, and that is the best thing I can write.
