I'm usually anti-cover charge, but lemme tell you that this is the one place in San Francisco where the $5.00 cover charge is well worth it. It's a tiny little spot in the hood of the Mission. Underground packed. World music bumpin. Everybody's shakin' somethin'.
by Merissa Quillen on ** 3.5 Stars ** Went here for a business lunch and was satisfied. The decor is quite remarkable, and despite looking otherwise, the chairs were actually comfortable! Most of the group got the lunch special, which includes an entree, miso soup, rice and salad. It was a lot of healthy food, but overall a bit bland. The service was also quite slow, especially for all the staff that was present. Seek this place out if you appreciate your servers to be eye-candy. This place seems most suited for a large group on a special occasion. The prices aren't unreasonable, and the decor creates a fun atmosphere. The menu seemed varied enough to satisfy a range of palates.

Join us Monday through Saturday beginning at 11 am and enjoy our featured healthy, generous and tasty Daily Lunch Specials! Only $5.95 and they change daily but you can count on the fact that they’re always a homemade and filling sensational meal. We also offer our bottomless bowl of homemade soup, just 39 cents! We serve lunch all day. Our specialty sandwiches and burgers are very large, they are served on fresh bread, roll or wrap, served with steak fries or our fabulous cole slaw, and garnished with a pickle spear. Get a hot Rueben (we make the corned beef), Steak and Cheese, Fish and Chips, Grilled Hot Wings, Gourmet Veggie Burger, BLT, or select from an array of fresh salads.
Upstairs is completely different venue. The 104 Creative Venue is a posh, eclectic setting where you can enjoy a cuisine meal while relaxing.
