Was listening to a great band there last night called L.O.F.T. The silly owner kept having them turn down the music to a point that you just couldn't feel it anymore. Major buzzkill If you wanna see good music don't go to this place cause the owner won't let the band do its job.

We went early while it was still quiet. Service was quick and friendly. Tuna tartare appetizer was bland but everything else was really good. My skirt steak was cooked perfectly, sweet corn pudding + mac and cheese sides were delicious. Add 2 nojitos and this meal came out to $190 including tip for 2 people.

I don't party as much as I used to, but I do know the difference between a good club and a crowded sweat lounge. My experience at Roe was the latter. Not a good experience at all. The lines were too long, they pack the place to the point where no one can breathe, and the top shelf drinks are ridiculously expensive. Nothing like spending $20 cover, buying a $10 beer, and being engulfed in hair, sweat, and ass (sorry, its not sex) If you decide to go, come early, like 8:00 early and with low expectations

I just don't get it. Of course, I go in there with certain expectations. Even for fast food, I don't think it's good. Having lived across the street for three years, I've given it many chances. I've tried the burgers, dogs, fries, onion rings, and wings. Everything is WAY greasy, which would lend you to believe that this may be great, but it just doesn't taste that great. I do, however, really enjoy the slow orange frozen drink. I used to drive down spring past the varsity every day, and it is always packed at lunch. Everything from construction works and students to buses full of kids or tourists. This must-visit should be considered a must-skip. There are so many other quaint restaurants that you can grab a great, greasy snack.
