by Charise Apthorpe on They have a $3 beer happy hour until 7:30 that includes Fat tire, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Pilsner, and some weissabeir. The waitress/bartender was helpful and cute. The food looked good, I didn't eat. I'd say the main problems are that the acoustics are terrible to the point that it's difficult to carry on a conversation, and they keep it freezing cold in there.
by Evette Hampe on First off, whenever I go to Pure, I get a drink on the 1st floor since it's less packed, then I go straight to the 3rd floor. That's where it goes down. Yes it is more upscale than most of the places on 6th. I can't believe people are actually complaining saying that this place belongs in Miami or Vegas. How about recommending it as a Miami or Vegas-style joint for those who are looking for that? I'm personally glad there is diversity on 6th street. If you like to dance, go to the 3rd floor! The dance floor never gets too packed. As for the music, I give major props to the DJ. House remixes and pulling out old school when needed. The great thing about 6th street: if you don't like one bar, move on to the next one. No cover:)
