I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was good, prices were a lot lower than what I expected (10-15 bucks per plate). The decor was nice, the servers were attentive, the beer was cold and the mojitos were good and only $4 bucks. I paid about $45 for dinner for two including four drinks and at the end of the meal I was pretty satisfied. I would definitely go back and try out some of their other food options (not that mine was bad -fish tacos, but the people on the table next to me definitely made better options).

Seriously delicious food and great music (Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers.) She is so awesome and her stage presence is worth seeing up close. Can you say FRIED PICKLES? Just try them. They sound weird but are so yummy. I had the crab cake dinner and my date had the fried catfish and biscuits. He's from the South and is picky when it comes to traditional Southern cooking. I thought I might lose him to the chef that night because he was clearly in love. I would give them five stars but our server was not great. It was a crowded night and I would understand being a little behind but after the show was over her section of about 8 tables was all waiting for their checks and everyone else had cleared out their sections. I think the other servers were much better.
