Phoenix Landing is a breath of dive bar fresh air for those who are sick of the pretentious bars and clubs around Harvard Square. This is the type of place that invites a good old-fashioned throwdown. It features DJs who play fist-pumping fan favorites on the weekends. And the food is actually not bad if you're in the mood for cheap bar food. And the jukebox. Oh and the jukebox. I'm going to stand up on my soapbox and tell you people something. In the year 2010, if a bar does not have a Touchtunes jukebox they are living in the past and don't deserve your business. This amazing music player taps into the technology of the internet machine and delivers an unlimited library of songs for the listening public. Best of all: you can make your own playlists online, sign in at the bar, and BOOM...it's like having your own Ipod at the bar. I personally enjoy imposing my esoteric musical tastes on everyone else and can successfully execute this maneuver at PL. Mwa Mwa Mwa (insert evil cackle here).

hmmmmm this place was kinda fun and exclusive.... I like the fact that it was at the top floor of the hote, and overlooked the city. I was at a press realease shoot for designs by Danielle Pette (She's awesome!) And my secreto crush came with me (He's awesome) unexpetedly had a hellova time. I'd definitely go back. This place is a great spot to go chill with close friends, and just have a close knit kick back, knock back a few drinks, and dance the night away (haha cheesy line). LOVE it, will definitely go back. It also held that my friend is the bouncer there! =)
