Loved this club! My beau and I came on a Sat. night.. getting in was pretty easy but the doorman definitely looked us over before the OK. So, put on your most expensive heels and best dress b/c this place definitely calls for it!! Inside is not too crowded but with the right crowd(no creepy guys lurking about..) and very fun. They play decent music and overall, a fun memorable time. Drinks are $20 each so I can't give it 5 stars but guess that's expected in NY!

Wow...some of you people are complete haters! I had nothing but a great experience at this restaurant. The food value for the price was excellent....I don't know where some of you people get off comparing a restaurant experience with a street vendor in Thailand? Really? Of course you are going to pay more in a restaurant. Do you really expect to get street vendor prices in a buckhead restaurant? And if anyone is seriously offended by the site of a Buddha or "asian" themes in an Asian-style restaurant, perhaps you need to meditate more....

I tend to write long reviews, but for the life of me I can't come up with more than two or three sentences about Tequila Rain. I am a big believe that a bar or club is only as good at the people who patronize it, and I'm giving this club 2 stars - do the math. The other reviews here tend to do a good job describing the average clientele. Otherwise, the drinks, music, décor and staff are all below par. The place is filthy and the sound system needs a serious upgrade. I hope TR gets replaced during the next round of Lansdowne St. renovations.
