by Chris M. on BBP, while making a pretty tasty burger, occupies a limbo state in the stratification of restaurants. For example, there are times when you want a leisurely sit-down lunch, complete with waitress service, etc. -- there is no dearth of options in West Philadelphia for this. Sometimes, you are nearing starvation, your ribs threatening to puncture your stylishly tight dress shirt, and have minutes to eat before your next meeting -- there are innumerable lunch trucks that fit the bill. Bobby's attempts to straddle the two, and, in its attempt at moderation, doesn't offer the comfort of waiter service nor the inexpensive rapidity of a food truck. The BBP model requires one to wait in a (sometimes tortuous) line, order your food at a the counter, pay, take a number, locate a table (biggest challenge is this stage), and wait for a server to bring the food to you. Eh... But, centrist service model aside, I must say the burgers here are pretty good. I highly recommend the Philadelphia burger with provolone (comes topped with fried onions and hot peppers, oh yes). And the array of fancy ketchups and hot sauces on the table really do serve to elevate the taste of the burger. Sweet potato fries are OK, but cut a little thin for my taste. The pricing is a hair high for what it is, though. I paid $12 for the Philadelphia burger and an iced tea, with tip. That is getting dangerously close to making Pod the opportunity cost of coming here!
by Tristan Height on Average Boston Bar That's what this place should change its name to. There isn't anything that makes it the greatest, so I declare false advertising for this establishment. I like the fact that are four floors, but aside from that, I'm all set. I can drink Bud Light with "Yeah-Dudes" where some servers are nice and some not so much as I dance to top 40 when the hours get away from me anywhere in town. I was coming here because it was close to the Garden and some friends convinced me this was the place to go after Blazer lacrosse games, which we've been attending. That was all good and fine until last night when they tried to charge me a cover when the game got out - 10 dollars. Um, excuse me? "It's always 10 dollars on a Saturday night." Well, I never! Maybe it has been after 10p, but before then? We've always arrived around 9:30/9:45p...Are you changing the time for a cover? Ew. This is not Landsdowne and I am not 19 and I am certainly not paying 10 dollars to get into a bar when they are dozens of others in town just like it. My days here are over.

Monday 10pm-2am 24$ unlimited bowling with shoes.. how can you beat that in manhattan. I am so coming back Shout out to few new rateclubser I met. Victor L, Remi C. Paul R and Jimmy. and some familiar faces Jane K. You rock!!! =)
