Free pool and big buck safari!! Okay, granted big buck hunter would be better, but I'm going to get better. Much better. That JEW (I'm not being prejudiced, those are his initials) high score holder is going down!

King King in the hizzouuusse! I had no idea about this place until last night when my friend had her birthday drinks here. Huge open space dance floor with double bar in the back, and some booths up top. Mainly a dance space. Huge celinings with "peace, love music' signs in asian motif. At 11pm on a Saturday there was great music spinning, people standing around but only a couple dancing, but eventually everyone had their butts on the dance floor. AWESOME house music, Raoul Campos (from KCRW) was spinning at midnight, and he rocked, but even the guy before him (who I wish I knew his name) rocked the house. The entire place was jamming, all sorts of different people. Some crazy St. Patty's dude included with a giant hat and lights on his tie. He was weird. Back to the review. There were the house dance people that come with the crazy hats and can dance the old school robot among other aeorobic feats adeptly spinning themselves across the dance floor in true funkiness like nobody's business, and there were the white girls/guys myself still gettin it done, and all kinds of other types of people. Including some guy who looked like JFK junior. Yes. I had a good time. Bartender was fast and really personable, gave my friend a drink free for her birthday! That was nice because otherwise, the drinks were HELLA expensive- 3 drinks consisting of a beer, a long island iced tea, and a vodka tonic were $43 bucks! So I would drink before coming and then just pay the $10 cover before 11pm. Entrance is at the back at Whitley behind Cahuenga, its $10 to park there. Front entrance has no obvious sign but is just a black door.
