Thursday is Bitches Night Out. Which means a lot of guys looking to jam pay $25 to get in. It was empty. By 11:30 more people started arriving. It didn't matter though. The crowd was pretty homogeneous but still fun I guess. The music was really awful and totally sucked!! DJ played pretty much only hip hop with a few mash ups. The guy to girl ratio felt like it was 5:1, which you would think would be a good time but not when every guy is trying to grind his crotch on you and then not even offer to buy you a drink. Excuse my back is not going to give it up for free. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because I will probably come back here one day when im wasted or as a joke or if a friend in town wants to. I was just expecting so much more than what we got. I will say the space is pretty amazing with 3 floors and a basement i think? Didnt get to see the third floor or the basement if its different than where the studio is. Bathrooms were kind of tricky as there is a step going into the stall (why do that to a drunk?). All in all webster hall i feel like you were a bad date, but because ur kinda cute and kinda funny ill give you a second shot. Maybe when theres a dim mak night?

Lo-Fi is different. i've gone to many clubs in Seattle (b/c i used to be a promoter for 7 years and i just party a lot) but this place is hard to pinpoint. it's not all in-your-face and VIP crazy like the rest of Seattle clubs are coming to be. it's strictly a chill dance club. emphasis on the "DANCE" part. people come here to dance, freestyle, b-boy, and get their scratch on (dj's). i particularly like this kind of atmosphere- but i'd been going to only snooty or annoyingly trendy nightclubs with no essence of "cool vibe" like Lo Fi. it's not too known, yet it's known by enough people to make this place jump. Tuesday nights are low-key and chill. i really like the crowd and the non-drama. there's no MC screaming, "chyeaaaaah! holla at your boyeeeee!" or lots of fake-boobed go-go dancers all up in your face. ithe drinks aren't too pricey and the front of the club is a chill little lounge with lots of interested artwork. like the long and narrow hallway. it's like a mysterious passageway back to the real world. i posted pics, so enjoy!
