by Victor C. on Big fan of Bobby Flay's shows and food, not a fan of this restaurant. 45 minute wait, understandable. You know, celebrity chef's new restaurant in one of the BEST locations for a burger joint in Philly along with gorgeous weather, of course there's going to be a line. But why are half of the tables empty? This isn't a nightclub where long lines promote popularity. Ordered my L.A. Burger, sweet potato fries, and black and white shake, and a number was given to me to place on my table. I wasn't timing them because I was busy taking pictures and checking out the cool decor (which is definitely Bobby Flay style), but the food arrived fairly quick. The shake was OK, nothing special (Lee's black and white shakes are a different story!). Sweet potato fries were good and so was the honey mustard dipping sauce that came with it, but it was too runny and barely any would adhere to the fry. My burger came out and it looked delicious. They sure know how to make a pretty burger, with HAIR on it. Yes, my burger was topped with avocado relish, watercress, cheddar, and a strand of light brown hair. People make mistakes, fine. They brought my new hairless L.A. Burger out. The meat of the burger is actually pretty good. But the toppings were so so (more lime in the relish maybe?). I practically had to drench it in the sauces, mostly the jalapeno, on the side. Meal finished. I ordered a kid's meal to go for a friend of mine. Waited **20** minutes for it to come out. During the wait, we were asked about 20 times if we were done (not exaggerating) and if any of you have been there this week, you know what I'm talking about. No sauces came with it, not even ketchup packets. No compensation was offered for the hair incident, which I'm not going to make a big deal about. They did apologize, good enough. I'll give the place a second try, but I am not waiting in that ridiculous line.
by Solomon Yeldon on Great club, great atmosphere, packed to the brim. I gave 4 b/c as soon as the clock struck 2am the lights came on, I mean all the lights and everyone was kicked out. Guess its not really the club's fault, apparently thats the rules of LA.
