by B C. on I'm giving the Georgia Aquarium three stars because they did have some cool animals - Loved the sea dragons that I have never seen before! So cool! And they did have some interesting displays however, sadly I feel that the space they dedicated to most of the fish is quite unfortunate. I was especially saddened by the Beluga Whale display. I think his home was smaller than the home we live in...and what was worse was that they had a tv screen giving information about Beluga whales and it clearly stated, "Beluga whales are social creatures. You will often find them in clusters of 2-12, forming clusters of greater sizes with other groups of Belugas." Well, having said that, WHY did they only have that ONE poor Beluga whale sitting around in that tank all by its lonesome self?? So unjust! I just don't think I can go to that aquarium anymore for that reason alone. That is just not right...
by Omega Shouldice on I happen to stumble into this place last Saturday and I was surprised first off of the authenticity of the outside. Actually looks like an authentic pub. Then after they checked my ID and got a stamp to go in I was surprised on how much room there was in this place. But one of the best things about this place is that it's a really mixed crowd. Another reason why I like Queens to begin with anyway. You walk in on a busy night and there are just so many ppl from different back grounds listening to music or dancing (small dance area in the back with DJ). The prices of this place were also very reasonable. This is one place that I would travel to go to. So if you want a cool spot with good music, decent drafts check this place out!!
