by A B. on This place is definitely a landmark and it gets some great shows and events. As the surrounding neighborhood has changed drastically, it still sticks true to how it was when it originated. And I love it for that.
by Lanie Bracks on I have mixed feelings with Sugar Cafe. I've been here twice and on both occassions they've run out of mint!!! Ahh.. but they have a whole page on their menu devoted for just mojitos? Everything on the menu SOUNDS yummy, but in actuality the drinks are a downer. Either super stiff or watered down. The guy bartenders were a bit snotty too. And parking's a bitch. But I really do like the chill factor of this place. The decor is bit hip and trendy, yet the ambiance is still comfortable enough to kick back, grab a drink, and chat it up. So chill that I saw a guy sipping tea while studying on his laptop at 11pm!
