by J G. on Went for late night food. We all split a bunch of tapas and it was nice to sit outside. The food was good, not outstanding, but there was not much else open. The flank steak was the favorite thing we tried. The inside had some funky chairs and there were too outside areas, out front which was more chill and on the deck which had a more clubby feel.
by Devin Reitan on Before heading out for some serious boozing last Friday night, we needed a place to fuel ourselves for the coming onslaught. Yoshi's is walking distance from our friend's place and we headed there on his recommendation. Since we didn't have a reservation, he'd already grabbed a table in the lounge area by the time the rest of the group arrived. The space looked impressive, though we didn't really have a chance to explore much of it. The five of us shared a bunch of appetizers: baby calamari, chicken karage, short ribs, spicy dragon roll, spicy tuna roll, and spicy hamachi. Everything was really good, especially washed down with a few tall Asahis. Huge bonus points to our server, who overheard that it was my birthday and surprised me with a free sorbet duo and candle!
