Summary: They get a 3 on their food, which is decent, aside from one dish that really disgusted me, and a 1 on service. I'd probably give them a 4 on atmosphere. They project 'we are a high class establishment and sports bar' very well, but they fail to live up to this image, in my opinion. If what you want is a place to watch sports and hang with a few friends, this might be the ideal place for you. There's TV's everywhere, including a Giant screen on one wall divided into smaller screens, with practically every sport game currently going being shown. If, on the other hand, you're simply looking for a place to eat, you might want to go elsewhere for better service. My first visit to Jillians, I had a chicken sandwich and a cream soda. The food was good, the soda was excellent, but it definitely wasn't worth the $5 that they charged me for it. Ouch. Between the cost of my soda and that of my companion, we could have bought a third meal. The place was mostly empty, and service was so-so. Nothing great, but nothing to actively complain about. My second visit to Jillians was worse. I ordered a salad, which proclaimed that it came with bacon vinaigrette. I wasn't too sure about the dressing, so I asked them to put it on the side. When the food arrived, and I got a look at the dressing, I was completely disgusted. It looked like they'd chopped up a piece of bacon, thrown in some bacon fat, added some vinegar, and called it dressing. Some of it had spilled onto the salad out of the tiny bowl they'd put it in, and where it got onto the salad it had congealed and looked like... congealed bacon fat. Definitely don't order this salad unless you want a salad coated in bacon fat. In addition to my disgust with the salad dressing, the last time we saw our waitress was when she delivered our food. There were no drink refills (not even one). We were literally sitting there for 15-20 minutes AFTER having finished our food and contemplating just walking out before we managed to flag down someone to bring us our check. The place was NOT busy. There were a LOT of empty tables, and most of the wait staff seemed to spend more of their time hanging out by the bar and talking to one another than they did waiting on customers. I'd go here to watch sports, if I were a sports fan, or to play pool if I wanted to hang out with some friends. If my goal is purely food, I'd go elsewhere.

Drinks are good here, service is very nice. However to me it seems kind of an awkward place since it's just like one open space with a few side areas with railings. Empty dance floor, but the music was churning. It really seems like a place that you just come to have 1-2 drinks, stay for 1-2 songs, then bail. Sadly, that's what my friend and I did, and what I saw others do.
