by Adam D. on Remember when you were in 5th grade listening to Dre and Snoop (acting like a BAMF) and thinking how awesome it would be to go out to a club and dance to gangster rap? Let Bubble Lounge be your time machine! The dance floor is pretty small and has a cavelike feeling, so it might even remind you of your middle school dances. It's also so dark that you can't really discern anything about the other dancers (which could serve your purpose). Cover is free, drinks are far from it. Definitely go after knocking back a few drinks somewhere else. The upper lounge area is a little more chill. I've been told you find someone in the dance-cave, bring them upstairs and chat for a little bit -- if that doesn't work, go back downstairs and repeat the process. (In all seriousness, I <3 gangster rap and would go back just for that)
by Kasandra Leavengood on Thursday Night Cute Atmosphere...modern-ish feel...great lounge space...fantastic fire place...big windows for bum watching! They play cool hip hop and r&b...me likey! It was full of locals....so dont plan on getting too dressed up...you'll be surrounded by Art students in jeans and t-shirts...thursday night was good though...not too crowded...great place to go for a chill night for drinks with friends. Bartender, cute...so cute that you'll forgive him for making your dirty martini sweet...well i forgave him...my friend who ordered it did not =P
by Vikki Sharick on I don't remember much. I just remember lots of fun, lots of drinks, and not uber crowded. Two dance floors on two stories, which meant lots of space to dance it up. Like some Rateclubs have mentioned, there are lots of Asians, which is good if thats your thing.
