by Stephine Cashett on Cool. Down a steep flight of stairs, you enter what feels like a Victorian-era nightclub, which turns out to be an excellent venue for live music. Plus that they serve food, and it's pretty decent. Had the grilled chicken parmesan sandwiches with fries and they were yummy. Drinks are generous. Sound system is great. Recently saw Uni and her Ukulele and her band here.. great show -- zing! To really see the show you need to be in the room right next to the stage... but you can hear it from everywhere in the club, and there are relaxing nooks and crannies where you can actually have a conversation. Imagine!
by Arik C. on One of the few places in Harvard Sq. offering cheap drinks and diversityy. The 3rd floor offers great hip-hop music and dancing. Once school is in, place is jammed! Scorpion bowls are lethal and remember to eat before! Chinese restaurant is open late night for those times when you are struggling with the effects of a long night out. Atmosphere on the 2nd floor is a little better, not as sketchy.
