by Jen A. on I'm so glad my friend frequents this place. She made reservations (a must if you want to avoid the crazy line) at a table which made for a great group get-together. The specialty cocktails are a bit pricey but great quality. I recommend the desserts (Elvis & cookies). On a side note: some people show up dressed in theme but it definitely isn't required, fortunately there is a dress code that keeps this place classy. Tip: Valet, valet!
by Maurine Gravenstein on Yes its down an ally, yes its pretty small, but thats what makes 330 Rich special.Ive been a bunch of times. Used to go to Popscene when I went to SFSU. I still say popscene has the best girl:guy ratio of any club/club night Ive ever been to. I like 330 Rich because its THAT small club/venue to see those "big" bands and DJs, and they have gotten some major acts to perform. I wish there was some kind of archive available to see just who has performed live and spun for parties there through the years. Ive seen Kasabian, VHS or Beta, DJ Red Alert, ?uestlove, DJ Premier, Mike Relm there. The crowd depends on the night and music. Popscene is 18+ so that usually brings in the kiddies, but then Ive gone to PST and other hip hop nights and its been much more "grown folk," but its usually a very good vibe. Drinks are $$, but for the most part the cover or ticket prices are free-$.
