Unlimited free drinks til 12(?) DEFINITELY made up for the $15 cover! We were told that the guestlist would mean we get in free til 11:30... but when we got there they said it was 11. Nevertheless, my friends from NY, CA, and GA, & I had fun here on Sat....

Love it - and the doorman on Saturday night is very nice. The two bartenders at the bar are great - Patrick and the hot guy - sorry Patrick I'm sure you're cute to somebody but since I've known you since we were kids having the hots for you would be creepy. The only drawback is that every Saturday I'm there I get hit on by the obnoxiously drunk guy which always results in him falling face first to the floor resulting in the domino effect in the sea of patrons and me spiling my PBR into someone's corn on the cob basket.

I went here for the first time last night and was really impressed with the quality of the food. As "Miss S" already mentioned, it is an odd dining room. It looks as if somebody decided to turn their 1 bedroom apartment into a restaurant (the kitchen is downstairs, just seating upstairs). The tables are small and it feels a bit cramped, but at least the decor is pleasant. Anyway, back to the food. We had their hummus appetizer which was absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for that alone. I also had the salmon which had a crispy outside and great citrus topping. I'd definitely recommend it. My wife had the gnocchi and one of their salads (it had figs, walnuts and gorgonzola). The salad a nice size and was very fresh and tasty. The gnocchi was pretty good, but was a tad on the under-seasoned side. We also had 2 different chocolate deserts. My wife had the raspberry mud cake and I had the flour-less chocolate cake. I didn't care too much for my tobacco-infused ice cream, but the cake was good. I thought my wife's dessert was better overall. Adding 1 glass of wine and 1 beer to our order, the total price was $60. I'd say that was very reasonable given the quality of the food. UPDATE: I've lowered my review from 4 to 3 stars. I've been back to TopFlr a few times since my initial review and I've noticed that the dishes are not consitently good. One night the salmon was fantastic, another night just so-so. Same with side dishes like mac-n-cheese. One time it was great another time it was almost flavorless.
