Went for happy hour tonight and came out with a bill for $6.  That was for two really strong Margaritas and happy hour food.  Taquitos were yummy, chips were fresh, and there were about 6 different salsa varieties.  Viva Mexican Village!

I just went to the SF Yoshi's for the first time this week to see one of the best black poets of our time....Gil Scott Heron.  It was truly one of the best performance I have seen.  I have been going to Yoshi's in Oakland (Jack London Square), which I love going to, and was pleasantly surprised to see the SF version.   It is a little bigger than Oakland, but still small enough to feel like a very intimate Jazz club.  I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great music and good food.  It is nice to treat yourself to a wonderful evening!
