by Liza Reinschmidt on Ok, so I wouldn't go to Flip to order a regular burger, or even, for that matter, to order a bacon cheeseburger. I ordered the special, a Cuban burger. It was made of spicy pork, and to put it mildly, it was a taste explosion. I also loved their Nutella and burnt marshmallow milkshake. When you decide to go to Flip, go with the appropriate mindset. I'd advise you to stop thinking you are getting ripped off for something you would order at Five Guys or Zesto. Open up to their fancier burgers and recognize that you are paying extra for novelty. It's a fun twist on the soda shop for a place to take your gal or fella. I took my boy to dinner here and we wound up paying about $40 for milkshakes, burgers and sides. That is still much less expensive than a dinner and drinks elsewhere in the city, but it is definitely more expensive than the aforementioned options. Be prepared for the difference, and you'll enjoy Flip for what it is: a cute, unconventional, luxury burger joint.
by henry w. on Don't know whats up with all the negative pub on here for Pure but everytime I have gone there I've had alot of fun. It might be because I only go on Thursday nights which is college night and every drink is one dollar!!! It gets totally packed with college kids and its true they tend to play more mainstream music.. so make sure you go with people who just want to have fun and not put too much weight into whats playing on the speakers.. just go out there, dance, and have fun!
