This place is definitely not for the young adults looking to experience anything hip. If you like to chum with 40 + year old people when you are in your 20s, looking to hang out at a cool trendy place with people about your age and NOT wanting to get down to KC and the Sunshine band, not a good place for you to go. If it weren't for being with my silly and fun sister, I would have been bored shitless because it was too old for me. I had to drink quite a bit to have a good time. After about 7 cocktails, I got my ass on the dance floor and hustled my heart out to the Bee Gees, but I won't be going back until I am closer to 40. By then, they'll be playing "Old school Justin Timberlake" tunes. Basically, if you do decide that you must go just to see the panoramic view of San Francisco or if you are staying at the hotel, then expect the place to be shoulder to shoulder packed and lacking service due to all the hustle and bustle. The poor servers have to wear black formal gown in heals all night because that's there uniform, so that sets the tone. The MC is very retro and plays much R&B and Smooth Jazz for your listening pleasure..... The drinks are made very well. Yeah, that's about it. There are many other places to go to in San Francisco. Go here if you must.

Why the fuck does downtown LA have to be so ghetto? I mean, shitt, I just wanna dance. Everywhere. It's the reason I listen to techno, rap and shitty electro music and love it. My skewed view on everything is because of this desperate need I have within my body to move it to the rhythm. After spending a day at the awesome Takashi Murakami exhibit at MOCA over winter break I decided to meet up with some friends at this little place and groove it up with the crew from "The Heist". First off, The Heist is an excuse for nice white girls to think that they can blend in with the b-boys and not have anything bad come out of it. And this is actually 90% true. I met my friends in the 21+ line, and they we're cool about me being 18 and just shooting the shorter line, thank god, because the 18+ line was like waiting for space mountain on one of disneyland's blocked out days. It wasn't too expensive, drinks were moderately priced and easy to get, and it actually seemed like a nice venue. However, combining these electro-hipster kids with downtown LA went wrong somewhere because in the middle of the dance floor a fight broke out. Not the first time I've seen this, but whatever. However, it is the first time I've seen a guy have his teeth full on kicked in to his face, and there was no remorse in this kick. Wow, we all stare and watch, the girl to the left seems hurt, why is the floor wet? wait, this is blood. My friend finds a knife, she gives it to security, there's teeth on the floor. Everyone else just keeps dancing. Suddenly from outside there's gunshots, and one of the guys who got kicked out is unloading bullets on the guys from the other side. Two people killed? It was at least one. News cameras, police, fire department, paramedics. This was a bad Idea. Don't dance in downtown LA.
