Go to Bruno's! The food is amazing and the drinks are delicious. If you are looking for a place to get stuffed, buzzed and then have a little fun on the dance floor, Bruno's is IT.

This is, undoubtedly, the mecca of west coast deep house music. If your looking for a place to listen to very soulful house music and dance your ass off without the pretentious BS that you get at other Hollywood clubs, look no further. The sound system is probably one of the best in LA which really compliments the music. The drinks are pretty expensive but hey, with this kind of atmosphere, who needs drinks? As far as a dress code, it really doesn't matter what you wear here since everybody is considered equal. Expect top notch talent spinning on a regular basis and a very diverse crowd (old and young alike) with positive vibes. I got a chance to see Little Louie Vega spinning the other night which was a truly memorable experience. Some yuppie guy tried to slip him a $20 bill which was frickin' hillarious. Imagine, giving a 20 dollar tip to a grammy-award winning producer? It's all good - probably the guys first time there. Do yourself a favor and use the private parking lot assigned to the club. Don't be a tight wad thinking that since there's nothing happening on the strip that you can just get away with parking in a business parking lot. You WILL get towed - like me -and have to pay $250. Interestingly, that didn't ruin my night or marriage ; ) Seriously, what Marques Wyatt has accomplished over the years is truly amazing. I remember the old days checking out his mixtapes on Pureacid. Check this place out at least once.
