by Kevin R. on In this review I'm rating the Hollywood Improv on their food alone. Period. Just a heads up... The food I got was fine. The fried calamari was ok, but nothing really special (yet totally expected for a comedy club). The fries were actually very good, yet pretty heavily salted. But hey, it's fine to cheat on the diet every once in a while. The drink selection is pretty good, and even their non-alcoholic drink menu is decent. I ordered the Tropical Tickle (non-alcoholic). It was pretty good! It tasted just like a normal mixed drink, but sans the alcohol. This place is not known for their food; for obvious reasons. Yet their food isn't bad!
by Sam H. on Busby... wasn't suppose to be the mainevent but... we some how stumbled on here after the bouncer lifted the cover for us. :) How do I describe this place??? A mainstream club that offers variety of music with alot of different rooms. The crowd??? Think of crash... it has all ethnicies of LA. Which I like. Dancing??? Well... I think it's a pretty friendly crowd and pretty spacious enough that allows you to dance with space. Over all Fun place with good music and space.
