I ABSOLUTELY HATE KARAOKE! I mean loathe it!! But Pandora has shown me the light on how great karaoke can be when done right! The reason why I love Pandora, and why I hate other KO places: - Rooms: Not only are they SUPER CLEAN, there are like a dozen different themed rooms to choose from!! Of course I was jammin' away in the Hello Kitty Room! Rooms here are LARGE and spacious, so you don't feel all cramped. LARGE flat screens, and large table, and large new couches (which I want to add was PINK with a hello kitty bow custom attached on)! This room can def fit tons of ppl comfortably. - Service: Our waitress checked in on us through our whole session! Bringing us anything and everything to make our drinking/singing experience better! What was really cool, was the SERVICE button on the remote control~ press it, and in 5 minutes there she was at the door! NOW THAT'S SERVICE!! - KARAOKE: ok..those that know me, know that I DONT SING, I hate the way my voice sounds on a mic, esp over speakers, where other ppl can hear me. LOL. But I realized its cus the other KO places, have CRAPPPY mic's! and horrible tuning! Because.. I don't want to brag.. but I sounded DAYMN GOOD last night at Pandora! I was straight mic hogging! Another cool feature that aided me in my shyness around singing, is this cool "Vocal" feature. You can turn it on, so that the artist is singing w/ you, so if you are off tune its OK. OMG, let me TELL YOU about their videos!! Its actually REAL music videos, and not some random scenery shot of Hawaii in the background as we jam to "Get Low" by Lil Jon. Selection of the NEWEST hits! I mean I was fist pumping to some Little Boots - Remedy, and then bringing it back old school with, All 4 One- I Swear. It was epic. Their KO system is OUT of this world! Touch screen business! You don't even need "books" anymore! You can browse by artist, or search for a song! KO in the 21st Century! TOPPER: THEY SERVE ALCOHOL!! And I don't mean beer poured into a teapot!! haha They have a FULL bar, bottle service, cocktails, and a variety of beer! If you guys get bottle service, or need a chaser, they have this great Carbonated Cranberry! They also have a menu with food on it... but unfortunately the kitchen wasn't opened that night =( But a must try next time. So yea, if you want to catch me belting on a tune or two, you will only catch me doing it here!

Congrats Triumph Room, you are my first one star review on rateclubs!! Okay, where to start: 1) We were there for a friend's birthday. She bought bottle service which guaranteed her friends to cut the line. The rules were: one bottle, 4 people. So she bought 3 bottles to get 12 of her closest friends to cut the line. Clear cut. Just be there before 12pm says the email/written record. Check. So, we go to the club at 11:25. There's a huge line. No sweat. My friend just spent over 1,000 dollars on three bottles of alcohol that could be bought at a liquor store for 80 bucks. (this is why we get bottle service) Bouncers informed us to "get in line" with the rest of the crowd. We tell them we're on a list. Their response "everyone's on a list". OK. I tell them my friend bought bottles and we can verify that. I'm told to tell him my story when I wait on line and get to the entrance. OK then. We repeated this sequence with the bouncer, the promoter, etc etc. Eventually it took our friend to come out and beg the bouncers to let us in (awesome thing to do on your bday!) Bouncers eventually let us in after 20 minutes or so of waiting. Yah! And yet, the bouncers were still rude I was told: "we're doing you a favor because its your friend's bday." No sir, you're providing a service that was paid for. (imagine if you went to a restaurant and ordered a meal and you were told that the restaurant was doing you a favor by serving you your meal!) 2) The pat down. I've been to clubs with pat downs. I get it. But this was a FULL FORCE pat down.. down to the point of being violated. I mean, this was crazier than a pat down at the airport, before going into a secure government building, etc etc. And its not the fact it was a rough pat down that made the place suck.. but it was more of a pat down like "People before have snuck weapons in here, so we're going to make sure it never happens again!"... NOT A GOOD SIGN. 3) The club itself was terrible. We were in the basement area. Small, crowded and smelly. Music sounded more like a thursday afternoon Z-100/Hot 97 playlist. There atmosphere didn't make you want to dance.. it made you just want to drink more You were standing there basically saying "Did I really deal with these lines/attitudes to be HERE?" 4) Waitress. We saw her maybe twice the whole night (no wonder the 20% tip is automatically included in the bill!) The birthday girl had to chase her down to get extra cups/ice (not even mixers). She acted like she was doing us a huge favor by doing that. Big disgusted look on her face. Whatever. There's no need for attitude when someone asks for extra cups. Especially since it's been almost 2 hours since the bottles were served. 5) 75 dollar (wtf?) min on credit cards. Besides the fact that's completely against the rules (you are not allowed to have a min charge amount on a Visa/Mastercard. Read it right off Visa's website: http://usa.visa.com/ab...).. but I understand the plight of small businesses and usually emphasize when a place has a 5 or 10 dollar min charge (it destroys their profit margin....) but 75 is just downright abusive of the policy. They just want you to drink your way to 75 dollars in spending. Awesome. 6) Bad, bad music (this really needs to be emphasized) And to top it off, the crowd consisted (at least the night I went) mostly of guys and not exactly the most attractive women (the few women who were there) So basically, all the elements that make a club night fun (proper VIP service, good music, dancing, good looking crowd, friendly service) were completely missing. And to top it off: When I was leaving, I waited outside for a friend to come back from the bathroom. While waiting there, a bouncer approached me and told me to "get on line". I showed him my stamp and said I was just waiting for a friend. He informed me to get back into the club. I told him it'll be a minute and he told me to either go to the street corner and wait (um okay) or get back inside (hammer that point down!) I indicated I'll go to the street corner because I wouldn't want to go back to that place. He responded by yelling and saying "well we don't want you back!" Hey trust me... I won't!!!!!
