by Rona H. on This is where the young, skinny, rich, and pretty people come out to at night. Even the guys are skinny and metro here! The entrance is really not obvious on the street, but it's right next to Ruby Skye, which has a VERY obvious entrance. The $10 cover is a bit much, and $9 drinks are also a bit pricey. Motion Potion was the DJ the night my friends and I visited. None of us are rave-type-cannot-discern-the-beginning-from-the-mi ddle-and-the-end-of-the-song type music, but if you're into that that's apparently what's there. You can slide down a slide to get in (because most of the place is below ground) if you're wearing pants. The slide is overrated, just sayin'. Don't wear pants just because you want to slide down the slide to get in. They have lounge areas, which are comfortable and good to sit on when you're tired from dancing. It seems like you can reserve a lounge area; some of the lounge areas closer to the dance floor were reserved by parties. 5 stars for the women's bathroom. You will see some great dancing here! San Francisco knows how to party!
by Angie Willington on Not into the pretentious look-at-who-I-know club scene, but I enjoy a place to dance with great music and a fun crowd. So when a friend wanted to go here after a Sat night dinner, I said why not. Unfortunately he turned out to be one of those people with the friends who knew somebody and roped themselves off with bottle service the entire night. Which I think kind of defeats the point of going to a club....anyway, back to rating. I can't say it's not still elitist, but the music and energy was worth the price and assumedly the hassle to get in. Bartenders were extremely friendly when I decided to venture out of our roping and actually dance. The crowd was 25-40 professional but fun crowd for the most part. I would go back when I get into town again, just maybe with a different group of friends : P
