Oh honey, Let's sit down and talk! This place is Amazing! I know that as a gay man - especially one singing in the Gay Men's Chorus, I should really have been going here since my first night in San Francisco. But here I am - 4years in the city and last night was my first time there. The martinis were heavenly, the cocktail server was wonderful, and the lounge singing was great. I even got to close the bar out with a Chorus Line! Minus one point for the hot but rude bartender who looked like he was not having fun there.

*Hurl* Yeah, this place was good. *Dry heave*. Fatty took me here for 80s night (Sunday). I think he thought I would enjoy it because I spent my high school years in neon with my head half shaved, silly gen Y kid. *Puke* With very few memorable exceptions, it's a decade I'd rather bury into the depths of the earth. *Goosebumps...hurl again* There was no line to get in at around 11:15, but the band was really really good and Fatty said that it gets crowded at midnight, which it did. I don't remember their name, but they sported the Revenge of the Nerds get-ups really well. I like the stage and how it's set up so that you can walk around it. I don't have to feel curious about what's behind the stage. Yeah, that's mindless hangover talk right there. *Yak* For the size of the place, there were a lot of bars. I guess that's a good thing, one by the stage, one outside on the sizable patio, and I thought there was another one. I feel like there was another one. *Spittle* I can finally cross this place off of my list of places I've been meaning to go to for the last decade. Now that I'm done writing this review, I really never want to think about this place again...*Vomit*...never again...

This place was a lot of fun. For the most part the bartenders/bouncers/restroom attendants were very friendly. I was here on a Thursday night (all Thursdays are now sponsored by THE COMUNE [a new skate/snow clothing concept]) which are strictly guestlist only nights...But from what I've heard, most of the nights are guestlist only anyway. The drinks were $10/piece, I didn't specify a vodka for my vodka soda and they gave me Effen. Thankfully it was nice and strong, and with all the prepartying I did, I didn't have to spend any more money. The decor is as everyone else described it, some sort of mix of French and East Coast. I liked it. There was plenty of seating since the place wasn't packed, a great thing. They played fun music too! Madonna, Ace of Base, MGMT, Shwayze, etc...
