Ah, the best part was probably the KMart here, followed closely by the strawberry pie place down in the basement. It's a bit older, and a bit "ghetto" as people say, but it is the local center city mall, and you have plenty of transportation options (trains, buses, green and blue subway lines are all located here in the basement, and a lot of people come in and out). They do have a fun Christmas show year-to-year, though.

Sadly my drunken haze has made it difficult for me to comment on the full and complete MJQ Experience, But this is what I do know....the DJs (two of them) are off the chain (which is slang for very, very good, The drinks are strong (which is code for YOU WILL GET DRUNK), and the people are cool and friendly (which means no one stole anything out my purse even though I was drunk and would not have miss a dime). I will submit an updated SOBER review when I experience one.

Ok, so back to rateclubsing, here I come--we didn't pay to get in here, and I'm definitely glad. The decor wasn't amazing, although the concept was cool. I did not like the unisex bathrooms, but then I am a girl and I prefer moving in troops to the bathroom, sharing lipglosses with my girlfriends, and staring at myself for overly long periods of time in the mirror to make sure I look OK before I leave. I couldn't do that here. So drinks--overpriced in my opinion, I think there are better places that are not quite as expensive. The crowd was OK, not bad, but not good either. I didn't find it pretentious, but then it wasn't that interesting. I'm giving it three stars because I liked the music, and I must admit, it was kinda cool to lay down once I started getting sorta drunk.
