by J W. on holy shit. let me start off by saying that this was one of THE lamest club experiences i've ever had. my entire group waited in line for nearly 3 hours. "what?! 3 hours you said? why the hell would you wait in line for that long?" short answer: we were trying to meet up some friends who were already inside. to make matters worse, table service prices suddenly changed to 4 people per bottle, and our group apparently didn't have a proportional amount of people; the bouncers kept saying the club would let people in at 12 (a big fat lie); and we kept hearing from random people and our friends inside that the club itself was empty. so WHY the fuck was playhouse making everyone wait so damn long? long story short, no one in the group, having already stood in line for 3 hours, wanted to pay $20+ just to take a piss. so, the next time you're clubbing in LA, please remember these two signs of danger. you know you're in trouble when: 1) your "progress" through the line is only because everyone in front of you left; and 2) everyone waiting with you starts questioning their motivation for still being in line. playhouse, you are just. terrible. holy fuck.
by Adam Z. on Third floor is a really nice looking bar. It is nicely designed and their lighting is cool. I enjoy their atmosphere. The music is good. Although their prices are a bit high. They have a deal where you get a flavored soju and one anju for around $40. I've tried their watermelon soju which was really good. It is always crowded here, but their bouncers, bartenders and wait staff are very friendly. Great place to hang out with friends for good food and drinks.
