Sahr Ngaujah as Fela was a powerful force on stage summoning the spirit of Fela Kuti and delivering a passion filled performance that lifted you up to the heavens and then tore you apart. The musical landscape that drives the show forms provides the backbone for what is an inspirational but terribly saddening tale of rebellion and woe. Fela is a fantastic production filled with colour, movement, music and soul and I loved it.
by Darby P. on Breakfast of Champions had a sweet new home.....except the ladies room was out of order. Big oops for a huge crowd! I've been here for a number of parties....all which have been different and fun. Love it when they have music out on the upper and lower decks! That's the way to do it :) Huge place to throw a party with the outside being used. Generally the covers to get in have been pretty pricey though.....
