by Andrew R. on I live down the street, come here at least once a week. The bartenders are great, especially once you get to know them, the drinks are generously poured, and Friday and Saturday nights the place turns in a mini-club with tons of crazy Tibetan people dancing late into the AM. AND, their food, which comes from the kitchen of the cafe next door, is pretty good too! In the warmer months, outdoor seating is awesome also! Pretty quiet during the week, and ALL locals all the time. Thursdays has interesting Karaoke!
by Brian L. on I've been trying to make it out here for years now...and I finally made it a few weeks ago for an indie show. The place was a lot bigger than I thought. The show was being held in the Grand Ballroom which is up the side stairs. The Grand Ballroom was pretty big as you would take from the name. I like it...it had that nice, cozy big feel...not the huge Electric Factory (Philly) big feel to it. The sound was good and I had a great time here. The only cons would be the long ass line at the coat check downstairs, and the massive hoard of people leaving the ballroom to squeeze into the staircase at the end of the show... I will definitely be back for another show.
