Located in the heart of Hollywood, on the 5th floor in the Hollywood and Highland Center, is the Highlands Nightclub. The Highlands Nightclub features 5 dance floors with the hottest music in hip hop, reggae, top 40, salsa and meringue courtesy of LA's most hip DJ's. When the dance floor heats up, escape to a balcony overseeing the streets of LA or retreat to one of the many lavish lounges found throughout the club. This club is the hot spot for anyone out for a night of entertainment! You can't go wrong with festive music, eyeful people, charming hostesses and bouncers, and five dance floors to choose from. Ladies, dig in your closet and find those flashy high heels you've been waiting to wear. Fellas, grab your freshest throwback and slacks and get your dance on all night long. When the sweat starts dripping and the feet start throbbing, relax in the luxurious lounge areas to catch your breath and refresh with the cutie you met inside while having a panoramic view of the bright lights of the  city on one of the delectable balconies. Needless to say, a night at the Highlands Nightclub will be unforgettable every time! The party doesn't stop until 3a.m. every Friday and Saturday. The opening times vary depending on the events scheduled that day. The events calendar is conveniently located on the website: http://www.thehighland... FOR SATURDAYS ONLY: If you want to be on the guest list on Saturdays at the Highlands, FIRST email FMHollywoodguestlist@g...and ladies can get in free, guys just $15 before 11:30pm. At the door, say you are on FIONNA'S guest list

Rouge, occupying a choice corner spot at Polk and Broadway in Russian Hill, is an interesting mish-mash of a bar/nightclub/restaurant.  On the one hand, there is Nick's tacos, serving up, well, tacos, and the like.  There is a large bar with bartenders that were very snappy despite the press of a hundred people in polyester blankets (more on that below).  And then -as I understand it- the place becomes a nightclub, but I was gone before that ever happened. I wouldn't say my experience at Rouge was exactly typical.  I was wearing a snuggie decorated with TX paraphernalia, along with about 100 other people wearing everything from the plain electric blue to the extremely decorated snuggie.  Rouge is pretty big, and I think it was the only place all night that accomidated all of us.  For the rest of the evening, we were separated.

(uhn tiss uhn tiss uhn tiss) Move aside Bridge-and-Tunnel bitches, Kim is in the Alley! You can sidestep your Wet Seal-clothed, cheap shoe-wearing ass to the side, because I am on a mission to get my dance on! I don't care if I have to elbow the wannabe-MILFs on the dance floor and physically push away popped-collars, I will dance until the wee hours of 2 am goddammit! No obnoxious bouncer or sorority slut can stop me! My enjoyment was largely due to my utter level of, ahem, intoxication. But don't you think for a second that I myself paid for those overpriced mixed drinks, oh hell noooo! I winked just enough to send the Euros over to the (many) bars. You better lock up your men, ladies (and gentlemen - I do have a way with the gays!); your favorite lush is on the crawl for drinks! Of the many Alley trainwrecks, the Estate is by far the most enjoyable. Ignore the posers, get slightly drunk, and just enjoy yourself. The crowd is fabulous and (at times) laughable, the decor can be appreciated in the dark, and the music is house-tasticly awesome! And OMG?! Is some MTV pseudo-celebrity making an appearance at the Estate tonight?! I AM SO THERE!!1!
