by Courtnee T. on My husband and I went her coming back from the airport one night. We know it was on Triple D so we had to try it out. The place is small and there was a little wait. It seems like this is a hot spot in this part of town and is always busy. The food was amazing. Their meatloaf was to die for and their french fries with truffle oil.; Great. This is definitely a place I will go back to.
by Sofia Banwell on 5 stars for Wednesday nights salsa. I had H-E-L-L-A Fun! I had such a great time here! good Music with DJ Walt Digz on Wednesdays! Through all the salsa music, he even threw in some bachata and that put an extra big smile on my face! Don't be afraid to ask a dude to dance, worst case scenario, he doesn't know how to. $4 bottled beers. and I loved LOVED their hibiscus/ginger drink. If you take a look around a lot of people were holding that brown plastic cup with a straw. 1 bathroom for everyone. lots of places to sit (along the wall or window). $3 cover =)
by Pinkie Huski on The interior is quite nice! I have been here once on a Friday and twice on Saturdays. the Saturday crowd seems much more pedestrian. Decor is very much like how Home looked in New York when it opened three or so years ago. Layout of bottle service is not as concussive as I might like though. Warning, a few of the bar staff have pretty big attitudes. I once ordered a gin and tonic expecting a decent well, only to find that they poor real cheap wells. Any place of a higher pedigree I I expect to pour at the very worst Absolute. I gave some commentary and was quickly rebuked by the bar maid. Mixed drinks here are also not overly strong. I prefer Halo for mixed drinks. The crowd is stylish though compared to most places in Atlanta. I can not give this place a true 4 or 5 star lounge rating simply because it charges a cover and seems to let most riff raff in. The good thing is that while there is a like 30 deep for Cosmo Lava down there street, most riff raff do not know about Door 44, and therefore you are sheltered from the "Bridge and Tunnel" crowd that plagues places like Cosmo and Opera. See for yourself, it is worth checking out!
