Great brunch place in south philly. A local favorite so it gets very crowded on weekends. Plan ahead. Don't recall having one bad item. Ever. If only this place was in Old City or Rittenhouse...

Hands down the best place to see a show in San Francisco, or possible anywhere. GAMH has been around for over a hundred years and it's highly decorative Victorian style sets the perfect ambiance for any band. Like many old theaters it has a mezzanine so that you can see shows from different heights and angles, plus the acoustics are awesome!

The old Pearl was much better. I haven't been since the Pussycat Doll Lounge opened..but have been twice since the re-naming. Decor: Much better when it was Pearl. Don't name the place APPLE in WeHo and have it all be brown. I was thinking overly done, right next to gawdy decor. Bright green and cherry apple red everywhere with lots of glitter, apple martini specials, something. Nothing. Just one glittery apple in between the wall separating the too-low ceiling basement downstairs and the 1 person bathroom. It's a small venue and probably much better as a place to dine than to party. The second time around for a friends birthday we asked for table service and not only would they not give us the closed off cabana that we had reserved with the owner but the hostess didn't come for over an hour! ...They were very disorganized because nobody could help us and they all seemed lost. Oh, don't know about the boys, but the girls bathroom has a picture of paparazzi on it taking pics and all that..kinda cool, but not if you have stage freight. Oh and it's a single person bathroom too. Good luck with that ladies!
