This is my first review. This is my first rateclubs. I don't know how this is supposed to go. So here's goes nothing... Ever wonder why it's not 'here goes everything'? Such a weird phrase... My friend was the one who brought me there, but she had never heard of the place and chose for us to go there because it was a 24 hour coffee shop that rateclubs recommended. We got there at exactly midnight, Saturday. There was a high-ceiling arcade. On the walls were flat-screen TVs set to different programs. Plush couches were pushed against the walls surrounding small coffee tables. A few people were inhaling on some hookah, talking the way people talk whilst inhaling hookah. Immediately the owner greeted us. His name was Freddy. Really friendly and genuine. Now, for someone with social anxiety, new places gives me the creeps. But Freddy really made me feel welcome and relaxed. He told us there was going to be a belly dancer performing that night. He also sat with us helping us, step by step, to get onto their free wifi. Unfortunately the belly dancer was already in bed. It was 1 in the morning by that time. But we ordered food, coffee, and three rounds of hookah. The flavor tobacco we chose was 'sex on the beach'. Now neither one of us were familiar with the hookah experience, but she'd heard that it's supposed to put you in a conversational state of mind, which was why people smoked hookah in the first place. After a few puffs, we understood why. We stayed there until four in the morning, talking about love, life, and the pursuit of happiness. It was a very chill, relaxed, and comfortable experience. And we went on a Saturday night! I'd go there again. Wow. rateclubsing is easy. you just write a lot of run-on sentences with fluctuating tense while you give your opinion on stuff. Very interesting. Very interesting indeed...

Been out to Bob Bar 4 times, and have never been let down. If you are the casual laid back type looking for a fun place to kick it and just have a good time, this is the place to go. Come through in your kicks but don't look sloppy; dance the night away, just mind the person behind you. True, it gets crowded, but isn't that when the party gets popping? If it is crowded, then they must be doing something right! I had my birthday party here. It was planned last minute (talking about, calling Stan Thursday night saying I'm rolling 50 deep on Friday). Emailed him a guest list and everyone got in plus whoever they came with. I was late with the RSVP but my party got there early (830pm) got a table, and Stan gave us complimentary champagne :) (thanks, Stan). I had such a good time and will always go back. $5 charge at the door, but it's so worth de-stressing after a long week at work (frankly speaking, all four times going, can't remember paying...) Bouncers pride themselves on not being assholes, and not assholes they are! They're so nice and always good to chat with. Crowd: A good mix of people and all easy going. If you're looking for a trendy spot for a conversation with a girl, this is not the place to go. Price: Average priced drinks from $4 Red Stripes - $8/$9 mixed drinks - isn't that everywhere? Hope this helps, D Edited: To be fair, I had a few drinks the night of my birthday and I'm a happy drunkard, so maybe that's why I like it so much. As for dancing, I danced in corners and close with friends, so I didn't have too much of a problem because my crowd was so big. Dancing maybe be an over statement, two-stepping, four-stepping every other song is more accurate.
