I can go on for hours to describe the distaste I have for this place, however I will spare you the reading and simply state... This place overall, is no good! I frequent this place, and gotta say, don't get treated as if I am a regular. Not that I am looking for special treatment, but this bar has not once shown an ounce of thanks or gratitude for the amount of people I have continued to bring into their establishment. I did give them two stars, because their happy hour special is what keeps them afloat. A bar that gives the impression of an irish pub, should be an irish pub. Not a late night dance club, who allows all girls to dance on the bar, and plays favoritism when it comes to kicking people out. If you win happy hour, chances are, you may catch a buzz... if this is noticed by the bouncers, you're out. And yet, they will allow all girls, even sloppy drunk, to get on top of their bar and show off for the egotistical drunken pigs slowly wallowing around this pathetic excuse for a bar. McFaddens, I have heard many bad things about you, and yet I continue to frequent your establishment. As I said above, bravo for your happy hours, because I fret that without those, you would have no business.

I think this may be my new fav place! I came here with a friend on a Friday night. Parking wasn't too bad. I was able to get a space right away, but there seemed to be a good rotation of people coming in/out, so you wouldn't have to wait too long otherwise. I think our wait for a table for upstairs on the patio, was approx. 30 mins., but the time flew! We had a drink while we waited. The bartender was very friendly and we were served right away! The bar area was awesome, I loved the decor of wood/rustic beer cans aligning the top part of the bar area. While waiting, we found a spot outside amongst the wooden benches. The weather was perfect on this night, and the restaurant was packed! Once your table is ready, they will call your cell. Our hostess (not a fan of that word!), was very friendly and nice, and once upstairs, we were immediately greeted by another staff member, whom took us to our table. We actually sat at the wooden counter space which outlines the patio. This gave us a front row seat, to overlooking Oakland Cemetary, which is across the street. Everyone was enthralled on the patio, as we watched about 15 teenage girls, scale the short, brick wall, take a group picture of themselves in the cemetary, and then scamper back over the wall-our guess, a scavenger hunt? The only drawback to the evening, was the service. I felt like the toys on the "Island of Misfit Toys" from the Rudolph Christmas cartoon, as we were not served for quite some time, but I think there was a cross in communication, as to whom our server was that evening. That aside, the patio was packed, the crowd was lively ....just a really fun and energetic scene! IThe crowd was a cross between families, and groups of friends in their 20's/30's/40's. I had a garden salad and Fried Green Tomatoes. Both good, but nothing crazy to write home about (but enough to write a rateclubs review about :)). Overall, a really fun place! This would be a great place for large groups, Happy Hour, celebrating a birthday, date-night, "I just passed the bar, let's go celebrate," kind of place! I am looking forward to going back!

'House music All night long!' Since this past Saturday, I have not been here in over 3 years. Nothing has changed, except the setup. Still great house music and party people. I had comp tickets to David Guetta @ Vanguard for Nov.22nd and thought I was a rockstar by showing up late with my friends. Wrong! Vanguard was over capacity by 10:30 pm. Had to switch to plan B: King King. I'm glad that plan B turned out just fine. With the benefit of hindsight, my friends and I would have been uncomfortable in an overcapacitated Vanguard - screw that waiting in line for a drink at the bar for 20 min! King King has been serving up great house music and has been going strong for over 7 years! Small, but intimate. No lasers, but great strobe light effects. One restroom, but many stalls. I'm glad nothing has changed since. 'House music all night long!'
