by Sophia T. on For my first gay club I thought this place was so fabulous! We came here on a Saturday night and coverage was only $5. They allow in & out privileges so u can go out to the gas station literally 5 ft away to buy cigs rather than the $8 pack at the vending machine inside the club. There's an area to smoke inside with a balcony that looks out onto the dance floor. The staff was great, someone was always cleaning up. There's also a lifted stage in the middle of the dance floor where they have the dancers. Once they go on break anyone can go up and dance, but no drinks allowed. I will definately come back here :)
by Dunzo S. on Great spot. It is what it is (dj bar w snacks) without trying too hard. Small, dimly lit bar up front, concrete dance floor and lounge benches in the room a couple steps down back. Truth be told, it is exactly what I'd expect if The Top (RIP) were a person who grew out of its baby 20s and into its early/mid 30s: cleaner, more put together, still down to boogie, and may tolerate you even if you're a hot drunken mess. In fact, a lot of the same crowd from those mid 1990s Bionic days, only: older, more put together, still down to boogie but maybe not stumble around like a hot drunken mess. I like to think we've all learned a little bit of class since then.
