As restaurant, don't even think about going there. Just some many people have typical attitude. Even though food is good, it makes bad day for everything. Oh, by the way, food was awful. And, bad space design. Not for date.

So, after my friends discovered that 40/40 on a Friday night around 12 a.m. is Wiggidy Wack, we stumble on this place. The place is Humongous (sp) and the Decor is pretty darn cozy chic. After about a 2 mile walk we get to the top level dance floor, and it was ON! my friends. It was not super crowded at all and the ppl were pretty OK. The music was great too, a pretty balanced mix of genres; she even played reggae which many of the downtown clubs I frequent don't do too much of. I loved it, and will definitely be dropping by again sometime soon!

Well if you have never been to the Zodiac show then you are missing out it was bananas...When you first walk in the historic, majestic, Avalon theatre you feel this energy of excitement that makes you just wanna dance and go crazy. There were performers walking around in there outfits trying to get there friends in and it was electrified when you walk thru the curtains to see all the party people in the house waiting to see a beautiful show...My homie DJ Double J aka JJ Trinidad was spinning the hot sounds on the Tech 12's. Lee Cherry the director of the show was deck out in his top hat , coat and tails just like the pimp that he is and saw the homie Shawn Antonio being the man that he always is charming the women folk amongst the crowd. Also my homie Kevin Whitaker was on pins and needles because he was part of the production team as well as Carey and Paulette whom I saw briefly as well. Carmit Bachar from the Pussy Cat Dolls fame was one of the producers there as well with her hubby Kevin and still to this day she doesn't speak to me anymore for what I don't know but life goes on...So of coures I have VIP seating up on the DJ balcony with the homies C J and Frankie and there women folk. The show started off with a smoke filled stage and a beam of light showing an angel ascending from the rafters she was known as the Virgo girl and soon as she touch down of course who comes out the devil being portrayed by a huge brotha in full on beast wear belting out his song while croutched over this female...My girl Ameenah Kaplan was awesome as the music director and kickin ass behind the drum set and also on the african drums that she beats so well. There were beautiful dance numbers of torture and triumph also beautiful songs to go with the dance numbers. Teresa Espinosa was awesome as always with her dancing and choreography that lit up the stage like a fireball. And the big surprise for me was to see LEO singing his ass of while finishing his performance with a massive salsa ensemble. The Aerialist damn near stole the show with there amazing feats of strength and artistry, but the main attraction MACY Gray brought the house down with a slammin ass performance while wearing her bedazzled cape of the Virgo in all of its glamourizing glory and closed the show by coming out and saving Ms. Virgo and freeing are minds in the process her voice and cander is still in tact and beautiful. Anyways the night was great the show was great if you missed it then you'll have to wait for the DVD which I heard they were shooting for tonight so I hope it comes out well. Good night!!
