by Liz S. on I don't understand the luxe bowling trend. I like my bowling alleys dingy and cheap. But in the realm of nouveau bowling lounges, I gotta give Lucky Strike a thumbs up. The place is comfortable, BIG, and relaxed -- at least it was in the early evening. The music was a fun mix and the staff was friendly and attentive. We brought in a group of about 50 people and the management was super accommodating. I was also pleasantly surprised at the delicious mini burgers. I had a turkey and a tuna, both awesome, and I practically licked the fries off the plate. Great place for a company outing. If you have a fancy event in mind, they have a private Luxe Lounge which looked tre swanky. Weird for bowling, but whatever.
