by Shari D. on Based on the two times that I came here, my review is a positive one. I've only had their rosemary fries, which I enjoyed, and their bruschetta, which was okay, their banana potstickers (yum!) and drinks. Two words: Hendrick's Mash. YYYYUUUUMMMMM!!!!! And service here was great both times, regardless of what we ordered. It's beautiful inside and the bathroom is clean. That's a solid four stars in MY book!
by Jessica Chambers on I love this bar! It's really cute, with lots to look at. Staff is friendly, the food is good (mexican pub style, burritos, tacos, etc)and drinks are good and CHEAP. They have about five or six nice tvs and a dancehall in the back. There's a pool table too but you have to put your quarters up on the weekend because it pretty much stays full.
by kari t. on I went here last night with some out of towner friends, who just insisted that we go there b/c they read some cool reviews of this place. I insisted that we NOT. I lost....so off we went and each paid $10 to get in. :( First, there seems to be a lot of hip-hop (can I say thuggish?) people here. I'm a nerd so I didn't quite fit in. Then it took a long time to get drinks but the bartenders were cool when we finally got their attention. The second dance floor was so crowded that I almost felt claustrophobic. For me, the worse part was when I got my black peacoat, sweater and scarf stolen. I didn't ask after I couldn't locate a coat check sooo I just decided to set it down on the side to go dance. When I returned, like 5 mins later, they were all gone! Actually the entire side wall was cleared and all the jackets were gone. There was also another guy roaming the dance floor asking if anyone saw his jacket so I wasn't the only one. Anyway, I was upset and downed another Patron shot and tried not to think about the freezing cold walk back to my friend's car at closing time. There was nothing worth noting at this place. At first, I thought it would be an upscale, classy club, but it's not. My friend wore white tennis shoes and a cap, and he got in. (Luckily for him though) I thought that if a place charged patrons, they would at least have a dress code of sort to "pretend" like they cared about the totality of the club's appearance, but guess not. Oh yea, and it seemed like there was no one local at the club -- they're all outsiders, who want to come "party" in SF only. Hope this helps!
