I ended up here randomly on a Sunday night after the AMAs. It was $7 to get in and we had just missed an appearance by Lady Gaga. I LOVED this place. The drinks were way over priced $11 I think. Loved the decor. They had voyeurism cages with men and women. Tons of dancers, on a stage and bar. Look above, oh whoa there's a dancer in a net on the ceiling. I took some pictures and would post but they involve barely clothed dancers and I don't think the content can be posted. The people here were friendly too and it was packed. Good night.

All my girlfriends and I were staying at the Fountain Blue and LIV is located in the Lobby... We were quite fortunate to be with promoter, so that big line out front was no worry... The place is gorg, has a very Vegas feel to it. It's very large, and I felt like I could walk around forever checking things out. I had the time of my life, danced and drank the night away. I prefer LIV over Mansion hands down... The next morning, the videos from LIV that we took were crazy everyone dancing and having a great time..

Live music, live music, live music! The owner is hangin' her hat and bettin' the farm that the draw of live music will be enough to pack the house at Kat's Cafe. The performances typically feature local jazz artists and on Saturday nights they feature the latin sounds of Salsa. The space is small but cozy. They have a full service bar and a kitchen that serves appetizers (e.g., small pizzas). I like the vibe they are trying to create and the Midtown location is a good one (despite being tucked under Helmet Salon). Honestly, I think the jury is still out on this place until they develop a more consistent clientele and vibe.
