Last week we had the pleasure of seeing PETER BJORN & JOHN Sound was perfect & we could hear all the instruments, the singers & even the speaking bits Views are awesome - we lucked out & got a table in the balcony & had perfect stage views What was really outstanding was their menu.....tons of "real food" offerings along w/ snacks & I be so interested in coming to check out their before-show dinner But for this show, I got the mostest yummylicious-est Rogue Hazelnut Nectar!!! This ale stayed cold, flavorful & was smooth the entire glass. I could drink this all night & almost did! Nice size for an intimate feel, great sound quality, rich brown woods for an elegant setting & I'm in love with Great American Music Hall!
by Ian Ailshire on I went to Hyp on Saturdays for a friend's birthday. If you come in before eleven, they have a 2-for-1 drink special. But, thanks to the nice bartender I had that special all night long *thanks*. The music they played was a constant "awesome." I've been to many clubs that played hip hop and at some point the music got lame. But here, I ended up dancing until almost closing. The crowd is really nice, a good mix of boys and girls and everyone is HOT. Plus, there is plenty of parking in the neighborhood!
by carol y. on Amazing venue for a wedding. High ceilings, wide spaces and an amazing view of SOMA. I attended my coworker's wedding last Saturday and i had a great time. The reception area was decorated very nicely and also the bar was stock with lots of alcohol. They blocked off the dining area with a white curtain which was a great idea because the guests can mingle with the wedding couple and also enjoy some appetizers before going into the dinner portion. The dining area was decorated very nicely however i have to admit the pictures on their website makes the area look bigger than it really is but im NOT sure Terra can hold up to 700 guests. The bathrooms was SUPER clean and very chic! I always love clean bathrooms. There was plenty of room to walk around and also dance which was a plus. Terra is a great venue for anyone who is looking for a space for their party -- chic, modern and hip.
