by Alfred Campainha on I dint know why I am reviewing this place because I dont want anyone else to know about it. Their beer menu isnt huge but they get major props for their selection. I love restaurants that cater to just about anyone. You can get everything here from empanadas, to filet mignon, to vietnamese spring rolls. I could even bring my veggie only friends here. This place is in a such a key location right off of South Street and I have never had a problem getting a seat. I have also taken food out of here and it was awesome. I could live on just he sides they have on their menu, especially the lobster mac.
by Avi K. on Went to STK to celebrate a friend's birthday. The atmosphere was great (not first time there) as was the food. Li'l Macs appetizer was out of this world and is highly recommended. We all had different versions of the Filet Mignon entree and all enjoyed it thoroughly (mine was with black truffle topping). Service was prompt and polite. Only comment I would make is that the wine list is way overpriced!
by Stephen Mancos on I made a reservation at 12pm for a 930pm dinner for 4. Sounds pretty simple, right? Wrong. My party and I arrived on time, I was told our table would be ready shortly. So, we went to the bar within. West Side Story and an ol' Elvis movie were playing overhead on big screens which I enjoyed. The $5 margaritas were a plus. 20 minutes pass, my friends and I were a bit buzzed and starving. We reminded the host that we existed, he said, "Soon". While waiting at the bar area we noticed 3 empty tables, are you kidding me? It took 50 minutes to get seated! By that time, our moods turned due to waiting so long. We are seated, minutes pass, "Where is the waiter?" The busboy noticed the looks on our faces, "Uhh...I will get your waiter". The waiter was awful nice BUT not on top of it! Our starter did not come till our main course did. We asked for an other round of drinks, we waited so long that my friend grabbed them from the bar instead. I will say this, the food was damn good. But will I ever go back? NO. I did like the atmosphere, it was ultra cool latino. In fact I gave this review two stars because of the food. If you like good service like me, stay away!
