Very nice and refreshing comparing to Death Guild. Very small but unusually extended place with an awkward smoking area ( a claustrophobic passage that runs behind the main dance floor in the back, with fake and real plants and Indiana-Jonesey atmospheric designs). Being into "that kinda thing" since, long ago, I can't say for any other events besides goth / postpunk tributes or 80's nights but its usually darkly lit with red glow and cages add a lovely and troubled S&M touch to the genuinely inspiring surroundings. It is small when a crowd gets in, it is worth to be dressed to the nines because it matters here, the drinks are mostly "meh" but it really doesn't matter because i do appreciate the music and that they are not stuck on the same damn Skinny Puppy or Siouxsie Sioux song like DNA Lounge does on Death Guild nights, and tey do squeeze in say Fad Gadget's "Fireside Favourite" or some other comically disturbing and far from "romantically twirly" tune into their playlist (its great to dance to a nuclear holocaust song, don't you think?) . The club itself is kitschy but in a good sexy way, and its absolutely lovely to mess around the cages as you dance, and watch girls all laced up in corsets and boys decked out in vampire cloaks sometimes interchangeably, regardless of gender . Nice people, great little venue, too bad it's so far from ....well, everything. Now that this is a yuppie town and everybody is acting old and posh, buying organic produce and dining in bistros or drinking at Ruby Skyes, places like this are slowly dying out and the youth of this town is dying out too...we have to keep it going.

Fully stocked, round bar at the entrance to the dancefloor. If you get here too early, you'll have to wait for the doors to the dance floor to be opened, but definitely check out the bartenders. Other tid bits: Many big, clean bathrooms. Not sure about the small side-lounge to the left of the bar. Beds EVERYWHERE! Word of advice for the ladies: please don't go up the balcony if you're drunk and/or are wearing a dress/skirt (it's grated flooring and some people don't like getting flashed or spilled on). There's plenty of beds on the first floor to make the trek upstairs quite unnecessary for all involved.
