by Holly C. on I haven't been to Third Floor in 4-5 years. It's changed a bit since then. Apparently it's become the place to go on Thursdays. And for those that are crazy enough, it's become a pre-game spot prior to Thirsty Thursdays at Circle. It's definitely an older, working crowd (late 20's, early 30's). They have the DJ playing music. Minus a few drunk people, no one was really dancing. The bar area gets really crowded, but the drinks are priced okay considering it's a Korean NY lounge (Johnnie & Coke = $10). The food looked & smelled delicious, but I didn't have a chance to try anything. We got our drinks, then headed over to Circle...
by Jeanette Y. on What happened to this place? It is filled with scum. I came here when Carnival first opened, when it was fun with no pretensious management or rules. My boyfriend was forced to check his hoodie at the coatcheck (who checks hoodies at coatcheck??), and when he lost his ticket management refused to return this hoodie until 4 AM. This is despite us describing the color, make, and size. Management is unreasonable and terrible, this place sucks, and my friends and I are NEVER coming back here. What a waste of a night - wouldn't be surprised if they close soon (and I hope they do).
