by Rika Y. on Ok so the drinks may be $8, but they are pretty much all alcohol. Which sucks at first before you're a little tipsy, but then it's just amazing. I really loved all of the exhibits, especially the aquarium. It was definitely pretty crowded and could take a while to get a drink, but hey, for a $10 entrance fee and tons of cool things to look at, I really can't complain. We were a little disappointed because there didn't appear to be any actual dancing going on, but we were distracted by all the cool stuff anyway. Plus, seriously, who doesn't want to get drunk in a museum without having to take clandestine nips from a flask?
by Clair Solgovic on Fun! I'm all about the cheap stiff drinks, and Bob Bar was on it. It does get crowded and very hot...FAST! But, if that doesn't bother you, this is a really chill spot for some good hip hop music. The music ranged from Jay-Z, 2pac, Blackstreet, Rihanna, Pharcyde (!!), and the like. I was definitely feeling like I was back home minus the terrible hyphy mash-ups that plague the Bay Area bars/clubs.
by Armand Bednarczyk on It's great when we manage to get in free..but even when we don't, the themed nights are totally worth paying for. Drinks are good though served in disposable cups, and the place is almost always completely packed. They have a reasonably priced coat check and I can usually find parking about 2 blocks away towards Harrison.
