Picked this place simply because I'm familiar with the Little Tokyo area and wanted to catch up with a girlfriend. The entrance is located outside the plaza of Honda-ya and the big market. The lounge and bar is beautiful, but it was d e a d empty. Of course, we expected that coming on a Tuesday night, but I read beforehand a rateclubs Laker game promo that read "prepare to shout!" Uh yeah, that would turn out to be a really awkward story if my friend and I decided to get rowdy here. ;P Food Recap: *Calamari- We shared this and the batter was nice, while the squid was soft. I'm usually hesitant to get calamari because I'm afraid of greasy batter and tough squid, so this was A+ *Vault Burger- My girlfriend got this and it was HUGE, had bacon, and tasty. It also comes with rosemary garlic fries, really good! They don't carry ranch and my friend was deeply disappointed (lol). *Daily Ravioli- There were about five pieces, aligned in a fancy row, and drizzled with sauce. At first I was like, "wuhhh" but it was surprisingly very filling and it was stuffed with beef wagyu and mushrooms. The bartender made my friend a very strong strawberry margarita (I guess that's a good thing!), and I got Stella on tap. They have a pretty extensive menu of beers, wines, and liquor. We were shuffling around the (paper) drink menu and 2 food menus for a while... I think they need to minimize everything on one menu for the noobs. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and willing to answer any questions we had, amidst our confusion of menu shuffling!
