Im a transplant from SoCal, so I'm still hitting all the landmarks We went to the 2nd Falcons preseason game and hit this place right after. Parking was easy since they have a garage. Line was long but the wait was short. I ordered the meal with the chili dogs and fries, got the orange drink. The meal was obviously terrible for you, Im ok with that. but there wasnt any taste to the chili on the dogs. The fries were pretty good though. Maybe my tastebuds have shifted, but CA does a chili dog better. Im used to going to Pink's in L.A. or Tommy's. This doesnt even compare. Sorry ATL, I still love you.

My friends and I went here after the Ting Tings show at the Fillmore. We didn't want the night to be over yet and we stumbled over to this place because it was across the street. The wait service took a really long time (maybe about 25 minutes to get their attention) --I think they were short staffed that night. It was around 11 PM and they were still taking food orders. We ordered a combination plate that consisted of some Ethiopian bread and sauteed veggies and dip. I wasn't such a big fan of the food because it was too bland for my taste. The price was reasonable for what it was so I guess it can be justified that way. There was also a band playing jazz --that was nice however the crowd consisted of some really annoying drunkards that ended up bugging us for part of the night. It's definitely not a classy joint... I don't see myself going back here in the future.

This is such a hard review for me to write. I love the restaurant, but I don't like the food that much. I love sitting at the counter and watching all of the food go by, it's like having a ringside seat to the greatest show on earth. The staff are all amazing!!! Some of my very favorite servers in Atlanta and that is saying a lot. My problem is that I never know what I am going to get when I order. I think the chicken with pappardelle and truffle sauce is pretty tasty and the fries are delicious, but if you venture much off that it can be hit or miss. My latest favorite has been the grilled shrimp with orzo, with the orzo stealing the show. It's combined with creamy Greek yogurt, lemon, oregano, tomatoes, cucumber and kalamata olives and I think I would be happy eating about a half gallon of it. On my last visit it had been taken off the menu, but again the fantastic crew there were kind enough to whip up a plate for me. On the other hand I've had yellowtail crudo with scales, and chicken satay with dark meat, which may be traditional, but isn't what I expected from a restaurant like this. I don't know how helpful this review is to anyone, but I guess in the end I would just tell everyone to go, it's a fun restaurant with a lively crowd and fantastic service. You may get lucky and have something delicious or you may not, but everything else is top notch so you will have a great experience regardless.
