by Tito A. on I went to icon this past Saturday it was $10 to get in at first they were charging $15. It has a small hot dance floor. Very ghetto crowd. The restroom smelled like piss. Do not go to this place unless your ghetto and ignorant.
by Grace K. on The place, decor, interior, setup, and drinks were ALL GOOD. Best of all - the comfy beds!!! The food is mediocre at best, and the shows pretty "blaaah" but worst of all is the music. It's unbearable. It's miserable. The DJ considered every song from the last 5 years "too new". The samba was near killing me. Conga almost totally did me in. Just when I thought I could live to this beat, it went into some house/trance mix that made me stack up everyone's coat as a pillow, use my own coat as a blanket, down a Long island Iced Tea in one shot, close my eyes and go to sleep until the party ended. Unbearable. After about 30 minutes, even that was too painful, so I politely excused myself, handed my ticket to the valet and went straight home. Part of the problem was the HUGE expectations I had for this club. I was really looking forward to visiting Supper Club for the first time.... eating, drinking.... in bed? Sounds good to me on any given day. Unfortunately - it failed to live up to my expectations in any which way and I can only give it 2 stars, simply because the beds were comfortable and a great idea, and the setup/look was impressive. It's unfortunate - - SO much potential, but all wasted, in my opinion. This is just not a place I'd go back to happily. There ARE clubs I have disliked more, but SupperClub hovers close. I can see how some people with different tastes from mine, or a different idea of what a good time is might enjoy this club. It is unique, and I suppose some could enjoy it more. I, however, could not. I don't mind pretentious or "euro" as what Supper Club was rumored to be, but I found it to be neither. Just boring and absolutely hard to tolerate. I am one to have a good time almost anywhere. Even when I don't like a place much, I can still have a great time if I will it hard enough or have enough drinks (haha). At a few places, though - even that won't work - and quite unfortunately, Supper Club is one of them.
