by Erin C. on I wish Bimbo's had more shows more often! It is, in my opinion, severely under utilized! The mood and ambience this club provided Adele helped make that show one of the most amazing night I have ever experienced. The sold-out and high demand Raconteurs show was incredible! And Robin Williams bounding around on stage--that was also a sight to behold! Great shows... great spot.... Definitely a San Francisco gem!
by Elvira Grafe on Whenever I'm in NYC I try to make it to Buddha Bar. Not only is the food great (Sushi for example) and the drinks are great, but the restaurant's architecture and decor are like no other -- I mean, you have a giant Buddha in the restaurant! I love the meatpacking district and there are many great places to eat and hang out in the area. If you go to NYC, do yourself a favor and go to Buddha bar, only if to get a drink at their fabulous bar.
by Elayne Dowdell on This place is relaxing. Yes, it's loud and crowded, but it's also without pretention and everyone there is so damn friendly so you can really get comfortable. Order the clam chowder. It goes so well with a cold beer. Creamy heaven.
